How to use this checklist to keep a written record of the skills your child is learning:
print a copy to fill in, or use an app to write on the pdf
write your child’s name and the calendar year at the top
write the names of the skills you are teaching on the checklist eg putting their t-shirt on; or counting to five)
tick or shade the boxes (colour code if you wish) to show that a skill has been introduced, your child is progressing in the skill, and your child is successful in the skill
this checklist is suitable for using for any single subject, or for all the skills you are teaching whatever the subject.
